| If you plan on dropping classes
or withdrawing completely after the semester has begun, we want to talk
with you before you drop your class to discuss revisions that may occur in
your financial aid package. We would also like to discuss the potential
impact dropping courses may have on your financial aid for the following
year.
If you received aid from federal, institutional and/or
state programs, but withdrew during a semester, a portion of your aid may
be used to cover your charges although you did not complete the semester.
A federal or university refund formula will be used to calculate your
eligibility based on your withdrawal date. For more information, please review
our
Summary of Requirements for the Treatment of Title IV
Financial Aid When a Student Withdraws from the University of Dayton.
If registration is canceled before the first day of classes, a full
refund of tuition and University fees is made. Cancellations must be in
writing on the proper withdrawal form or by letter addressed to the Dean.
Students who do not attend classes and do not officially complete
withdrawal procedures during the cancellation period will be responsible
for the full amount of the applicable tuition and fees. A partial refund
of tuition applies to students who withdraw during the first four weeks of
each semester. For more information, contact the Office of Financial Aid
at (800) 427-5029 or
the Office of the Bursar at (800) 259-7117. |
