Provided below is the process for
students who are eligible to receive Veterans Education Benefits. |
| |
|
|
Step 1: |
| |
The first thing that new students need to
complete is the application for the VA benefits. You can apply
for the benefits at
VA Benefits Application.
The average time for the VA office to process the original claim is 6-8
weeks. |
|
Step 2: |
| |
Contact the University of Dayton's Financial
Aid office. You will need to turn in a copy of the notice of
eligibility, copy of DD-214 and a copy of your class schedule to the
Financial Aid Office. |
|
Step 3: |
| |
After the Financial Aid Office has received
your paperwork and the semester has begun, you will need to complete your
verfication of enrollment with the VA Office. This will need to be
completed on a monthly basis at
Verification Of Enrollment
(WAVE). |
|
Step 4: |
| |
Notify the University of Dayton's Financial Aid Office of any changes to
your benefits or any changes with your class schedule, failure to notify
the Financial Aid Office could result in the payments/benefits ceasing. |
