| Satisfactory Academic Progress Federal regulations require the University of Dayton to
establish and measure academic progress of students toward their intended
degrees or certificates.
At the University of Dayton, law students who take advantage of
educational loans are expected to successfully complete at least 75% of
the attempted credit hours each academic year and to maintain a 2.00
cumulative grade point average during the second and third years (as
required by the School of Law for good standing).
Successful completion of a course is defined as receiving one of the
following grades: “A,” “B,” “C,” “D,” or “S.” Audited
courses and grades of “F,” “NC,” “I,” “W,” “X,” or “P”
are not considered successful completion of a course.
If your cumulative grade point average is below the stated minimum, or
if you fail to complete at least 75% of the credit hours you attempted,
your Federal Stafford Loan eligibility for the next year will be withdrawn
and you will be required to make up the deficiencies at your own expense
in order to regain eligibility. |
